Faye
This was the triangular ring I just finished before heading off for holidays. This ring took form from me visiting Faye in her home to discuss a re-make of her original engagement ring. It was time to bring it into a fuller expression of her love affair with unique jewellery.
I brought my ring inventory with me and we worked with the shapes and sizes, and ideas began to fly. Eventually coming back to the triangular ring I had made with the peridot stone, the shape and movement of the ring was the one.
I put together designs adding the elements to make it her own, and we used her husbands wedding band that was made by Neil Aird, with Fayes love for 18kt red and green gold as the ground of colour. Then we added the stones using the similar positioning of the original ring but then additionally adding a diamond to the underside making it a sculptural ring that shows it's beauty with the movement of the hand.
The ring came together beautifully and it was such a pleasure as always to create with Faye again!
